Kaohsiung is the furthest south I traveled and had a handful of interesting places to visit.

One of the cooler spots I had a chance to visit was the WeiWu Mi Mi Village. Tons of colorful and outstanding mural work.

The Pier2 Art Center included a larger mall, a park with numerous kite flyers out and about, and a long walking path that included these peices.

Kaohsiung was the home of the first graffiti store I visited, Mess-age studio. I was able to snag a handful of zines and some art from niclelin. Very, very friendly people at this shop.

Sticker Gang

Here are a handful of the more populated sticker boxes and poles I found while walking around. I couldn’t recall excatly where each photo was taken, but if you look closely you might catch some familiar faces. Paru, Smack, and Chilly Willy.

Taichung

This collection was taken in and around Taichung.

These were the only photos I could take near the Qianyue building in Taichung. Over the years access to the building has been restricted due to safety concerns and developers attempting to renovate the upper floors. I’d highly recommend reading this article that talks more about the buildings history, the art collective that made the building so unique, and has a lot more photos of the art that was present on the upper levels I could not get access to.

Tainan

Tainan was one of the last cities visited during this trip. There were a handful of spots I wanted to hit including Spraycan Fine Arts, and one of the public graffiti zones near the Tainan train station

These two pieces can be found at the Blueprint Culture & Creative Park. A quirky little corner with lots of art vendors. Unfortunately the sun was in full blast and washed out some of the other walls I attempted to capture.

Taipei

This collection was taken in and around Taipei. I was able to get a handful of pieces up from local Austin artists, Paru, Smack, and Warclass, as well as a few of my own, in the Meiti Riverside Park.

I normally don’t look too much into the local laws when putting up my own art but since I had some family with me we were a little more precautious. There are a handful of walls set aside for graffiti by the local cities. I used this site to find this particular spot. There was a nice bonus of getting a neat view of Taipei 101 from afar as well as an RC car tournament happening in the park.
